6 Steps To Easy, Powerful Digestion
Nothing's easy if your digestion isn't!
Many people complain of digestion system discomfort - ranging from acid reflux and constipation to gas and bloating. Often, a focused shift to a whole foods diet can do wonders to clear up digestion discomfort. Other times it's necessary to add in special supplements and superfoods to get back on track.
Here are a few basics for easy digestion:
Ease up on foods which disrupt the digestion system
Take a daily probiotic supplement
Increase your Fiber
Fiber is crucial for powerful, smooth digestion. So, eat plenty of fiber-rich fresh veggies, fruits, and whole grains. Add ground flax seed to smoothies and salads for an extra boost for the digestion system.
Cool down heart burn naturally
Calm a bubbling belly with kitchen herbs and spices
Digestion starts before the food reaches your mouth. Take the time to sit down for your meal. Eat mindfully - pay attention to textures and flavors. Chew food, especially carbohydrates, slowly and completely. Slow, mindful eating is a good food digestion aid, which leads to smooth, easy digestion - and delightful satisfaction.

We can reverse the food trends that are fast eroding both our quality of life and our economy, both personally and as a nation.
Beware of fake food
How can pizza, covered with real mozzarella cheese, be sold so cheaply in fast-food chains and supermarkets? The answer is that it can’t be. It’s likely that it’s not real food. Some processed cheeses contain no cheese at all. They’re chemical concoctions of whey protein and cheap oils.
Go organic, not "natural"
The word natural is meaningless on food labels because it has no regulations to back it up. If you see the word organic, you’re good to go because it’s tightly regulated.
Minimize refined carbohydrates
Let us put an end to our national love affair with what some nutritionists call “crap carbs,” high-glycemic-index carbohydrates, devoid of fiber, which come from refined grains and sugar that send your blood glucose soaring. These carbs are a major culprit in the health epidemic. Even whole grains can turn into sugar more quickly than some people’s metabolism can handle.
Digest Your Ideas!
Spiritual Healer Diana Lynn feels that a probable emotional cause for digestion problems is not "digesting" ideas. Not taking in life, processing it through, and then letting go of the "crap."
A daily affirmation you can say is, "I digest life with ease!"
