The following is a heart-warming story I once heard about making a difference. In this story Love expresses itself as service. Thousands of starfish had been washed up along a beach. A young child walking along the beach was picking up the starfish one by one and tossing them back into the sea. A man happened to notice the child making an effort to do this. He walked over to the child and asked, “Why are you bothering to save a few starfish when there are thousands on the beach that are going to die?” With a starfish in his hand, the child turned to the adult and replied, “Because it makes a difference to this one,” and the child tossed the starfish into the sea!
 Recognizing Oneness  By gazing into the eyes of another being, you look right through to the soul. You can identify your Self within those eyes. When I later did this with my little three-year-old niece, she enthusiastically told me, “God is in your eyes!” During steady eye contact, you experience Spirit gazing back at you!
